Lawrence Taylor, Co-Founder

Co-Founder Lawrence Taylor, is a former professional football player who spent his career as an outside linebacker for the New York Giants in the National Football League. Taylor is widely regarded as one of the greatest linebackers and greatest defensive players of all time. He played college football at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is also regarded as one of the greatest college football players ever. Taylor is a dedicated philanthropist who co-founded The Lawrence Taylor Family Foundation with his daughter Tanisha Taylor Jones in 2020 to create a platform to elevate individuals and families in underserved communities. Through the foundation, they have launched several athletic and mentoring programs and provided academic scholarships to many deserving students. In addition to their own foundation, the Taylors are committed to organizations and charities that have similar missions.

Tanisha Taylor, Co-Founder

Co-Founder Tanisha Taylor Jones is a visionary in education and community service. Prior to co-founding The Lawrence Taylor Family Foundation with her father in 2020, Tanisha spent years working in both education and community enrichment. Growing up in an NFL family, she was afforded privileges that others weren’t. She realized the life she had been given didn’t allow her space to realize who she really was. As she worked to find her true authentic self, she set out to help others who may need help to do the same. For the last 12 plus years, Tanisha has provided mentorship and community service experiences to young people to help them define their futures through her non profit organization Project Future Inc. In 2014, Tanisha founded Beyond the Books Academy, a preschool that uses a unique curriculum to teach children through creativity and play; guiding them to be their best selves from an early age. Tanisha’s newest  venture, Your Center Stage Enrichment Center, provides enrichment and development through art, creativite projects, tutoring, camps and workshops for children ages 5 -17. Tanisha Taylor Jones has created a village that sets the stage for youth and families to establish their authenticity that will transcend beyond generational and societal norms.
